Audio Plays After Bluetooth disconnects

My Question or Issue

If I'm playing any audio with Spotify and I disconnect a bluetooh device without first pausing the audio, it will play for a split-second after the disconnection. This appears to have started happening with iOS 13. I reproduced this using two different iPhones and with two different bluetooth devices. Additionally, I tried the same with Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, Patreon and Amazon Music, so it appears to be specific to Spotify.

I’m also experiencing this on iPhone 11Pro, iOS 13.3.1. Although it appears to only happen with my Bose QC 35 II headphones, not with my 3 other Bluetooth devices.
