My Question or Issue
auto play not working. I have tried updating app, clearing cache, reinstalling app. Nothing works. Please help.

Could you try using the Sign Out Everywhere option from your Spotify's account page?
If possible, could you try to sign in on another iPhone X to see if the issue persists?
Make sure to have the latest iOS (13.6) and Spotify (8.5.68) versions installed.
