Big Playlist over 200 songs not shown in Carplay

Big Playlists containing more than 200 Songs are not shown properly in carplay.
Only the first 200 songs are visible, but you can skip to the next song that is inviaible in the playlist looking at it trough carplay.

Please fix this bug, i found the same problem in posts of other users since 2016…

Appreciate you all flagging this and sharing your experiences. Just to confirm, playlists in CarPlay currently show a maximum of 200 songs.
I get that this isn’t ideal if you’ve got bigger playlists. While I don’t have any updates to share right now, I just want to say that your feedback is heard, and I’ll make sure it’s passed on to the right folks.
For now, keeping the app updated is always a good shout, and if anything changes, I’ll drop an update here.

Same answers for years.

Hi, I've had a similar issue for a few months now. I've made a few large folders containing albums as playlists. On desk- and laptop no problem, but my iPhone stopped showing all the playlists in a folder, roundabout 200.

I don't understand why they all show on my computers but not on

my iPhone.

Any suggestions?

Hi, I’m having a serious issue with Spotify on CarPlay.

I have a very large downloaded library (around 47 GB) with thousands of songs, artists and albums. On the iPhone app everything shows fine, but on CarPlay the lists are truncated: artists and albums stop showing after a certain point (artists at Q and albums at L), and I can’t access the rest of my library.

Hi, thanks for moving my post, but I want to clarify that my issue is not about playlists.
My problem is with artists and albums not being fully shown on CarPlay when offline.

I have a very large downloaded library (around 47 GB). On the iPhone app everything is fine, but on CarPlay the artist list cuts at “Q” and albums cut at “L”. This makes it impossible to use Spotify offline in the car.

If this is related to the same limitation that affects playlists (only showing a part of the content), then it means this bug has been around since at least 2016. It’s now 2025 — 9 years later — and still not fixed. That’s really disappointing for users with large libraries who rely on CarPlay.

Can you please confirm if this is a known limitation for artists/albums view as well, or if it’s a separate bug?
