Bug with liking singles

Bug involving liking singles (untested on albums with more than one song): liking a single also causes the contained song to be automatically liked but (1) fails to add the song to the Liked Songs playlist, or (2) removes the song from said playlist if it was already there despite the song remaining liked. Spotify 8.5.6.630, iOS 12.3.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

Could you also check for new Spotify updates and try to update to iOS 12.3.1?

I restarted and reinstalled and can confirm this issue still occurs. Running Spotify 8.5.7.601 on iOS 12.3.1.
