Can't reload Spotify on iPad running iOS 9.3.5

Can't reload Spotify on iPad running iOS 9.3.5

To reduce space on my device I used to be able to delete Spotify app and then reinstall it. Because I can't update my old device to iOS 10 or later the app would ask if  I wanted to install an older version ... having clicked OK I got an older version and all was well.

Since attempting the same process I wasn't offered the option to download an older version and now cannot load current Spotify app onto my device.

Also cannot use Spotify Web Player as it is not compatible with Safari browser.

Any help/suggestions much appreciated. Thank you.

Hey @Xivur, welcome to the Community.

Hope you're doing great!

Unfortunately the minimum iOS requirement is iOS 10.

I can't gurantee the stability and that the app will work properly there but you can try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

Thanks 🙂

Hi Loxer, thanks for your helpful reply.
Great to hear that techs are aware of the issue and are (possibly) looking into it.
I am unable to try your suggestion as I no longer have the app on my iPad 😞

I do have it on my Windows laptop and Samsung android mobile.
Is there any way I could sync/transfer from either of them to iPad?
Many thanks, Xivur.
