Cannot rearrange songs to play next on shuffled playlists.

My Question or Issue

Spotify won’t let me rearrange songs that are in the “Up Next: Playlist” area. Typically, before this errror, I would start a playlist by shuffling, and change the order of songs or add them in mass to the queue to fit my desires. 

Now for some reason this will not work at all, both adding to queue, and manually rearranging songs that are scheduled to play next, and it’s quite annoying. It seems that the initial shuffle is overpowering all manual changes.

I have tried to do the most basic of trouble shooting, deleting and redownloading the apps and playlists, but nothing has worked.
