Cannot transfer songs to iPhone3 - no wifi

Can anybody help me...I have an iPhone3 which I mainly use as an iPod as I do not have cell coverage at home and my internet is not wifi; my laptop is plugged into the outlet in the wall, old school I know!

I want to transfer songs from Spotify to my phone but cannot use the wifi option; is there another way, as there is with an iPod?

Hey 🙂

Unfortunately from my experience to sync your playlists to offline on a mobile device then you need to have the device connected to the internet itself. You should be able to log in and sync tracks on your phone connected to any network, might be worth sitting in an internet cafe for half an hour and using their wifi ;). You do need to connect the device to the internet once every 30 days to verify your active subscription though.

As for the iPod sync, it can only sync local files that you own to the iPod over a cable anyway. You could do the same using iTunes if you liked, but I'm guessing that you want playlists from Spotify instead.
