Cant control spotify via ipod (iphone)to car head unit

My Question or Issue

I have trouble playing the song on spotify on my car head unit. I can play the Spotify song in my car but I have trouble doing the next song or control the song in my car head unit, if I press the next song on my head unit the song will change from Spotify to Apple Music

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community. 

If Spotify is switched off for a different app while you're using it on your car unit, it might be good to give a quick reboot (or update, if available) to the unit's software. That might do the trick.
