Changing music quality? Says it's not possible when listening on another device?

Hi all, I'm listening on an iPad and when I try to change music quality to extreme it says it's not possible when listening on another device?

im paying premium subscription 

ive re installed the app

ive removed all devices from my Spotify account?

what other options do I have? Do I just cancel and go elsewhere cause it's not happening at this end? I pay for extreme but can not get it?
