Connect Waze to Spotify Banner (X) doesn't work

Waze banner stuck permenently.  Brand new Pixel 3. Just got it. Just got it all set up.  Waze banner (X) to close doesn't work. I can't get rid of it.

I swear this was also on my S7 though even before I moved to the Pixel 3.

Have the same phone and had the same problem. Uninstalling and reinstalling seemed to fix the issue.

Doesn't make up for the fact that they should fix this bug.

Thanks! I was thinking of trying that and honestly the only reason I didn't was because I had already re-downloaded a bunch of albums.  

I kinda want a way to just re-download everything i have "saved" so all  (save) albums just get pulled.
