Deleted Playlists on iPhone and they deleted on my computer??

I deleted playlists on my iPhone but I did not know they would delete from the comuter.  I want them restored on the computer, but that is another issue.

How do I have separate playlists on my iPhone and on my Mac?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

You can't, your playlists are tied to your account so you will always see the same playlists on all of your devices. 
If you need a restoration, ave a read at the official playlist recovery topic for instructions 😉
