Disabling Behind the Lyrics Isn't Working

My Question or Issue

 Hi,

I have disabled Behind the Lyrics on the Spotify app, but it isn't disabling it. At first I thought it was an issue with songs already in my library, but it is happening with songs I have not saved at all (either in my library or in a playlist). I have reinstalled the app and it didn't help. Is anyone else having an issue? Is there a workaround at all?

Hey @apfitzg2, welcome to the Community.

Hope you're doing great!

That option doesn't disable Behind the Lyrics feature, it just doesn't let it automatically been shown when a song that has it is being played but you can still swipe to show the  lyrics in front.

If you don't like this I’d suggest starting a new thread in the Community Ideas Exchange.

This’ll allow users, Stars, and Moderators to vote and comment on it.
