Distorted music issue

My Question or Issue

For quite a while now I have noticed that sometimes the music on the Spotify app will distort for like a second then be ok.  Might do it 3 times in a song or not do it for a whole album.  It is very random and annoying.  I don’t think it is my AirPods as I use another music service and It doesn’t happen.  I have tried deleting and installing the app a few times with no success.  Does anyone else have this issue or what can I do?

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

Can you try the following:

• Do a clean reinstall of the app. This involves clearing all app data and it's a bit different than a normal reinstallation.
• Let us know if this is happening if you're listening to music without your headphones.
• Try logging in with a different account. This way you'll see if the issue is account related.
