Experiencing distortion on most tracks

I've noticed considerable distortion in the last few ios app updates. Even at extreme quality, the sound is terrible on most songs when played through the dock connector. Back in July, the sound quality was fantastic. It sounds like the output volume was increased in the app and it cannot be changed when using the dock connector. I'm paying for premium to listen to Spotify in my car and for the last month, it has almost been unusable.

Thanks for your post. It seems a lot of apps are running into problems when being run on iOS Beta 4 - Hopefully things will be a lot cleaner in the full release!
