Since yesterday the Spotify app on my iPhone behaves strangely. When I download songs for offline use the songs are downloaded in a couple of seconds. You could think that's a nice thing, but since I'm having my sync settings put to Extreme, I got a feeling that the songs are actually syncing at a way lower quality.
Has something changed to the codecs Spotify uses or what can it be?
And because the proof is in the eating of the pudding I just checked the data usage on my iPhone. A single album is just 45 MB. That's absolutely not an 320 Ogg Vorbis-file.

How did you measure the 45MB out of interest? You have the download quality set to "extreme" in the spotify app settings?
