Favorite artists and albums?

How come I can't favorite any artists or albums? I can only favorite tracks or make playlists from albums, which also aren't alphabetically ordered. Why is this not possible? Seems like something essential for a music app. I wan't to have a list of my favorite artists and albums in alphabetical order instead of a gigantic random list.

Hello, @hangmat! @Christoffer is right. Give your kudos there. Just to add: For the time being you can only follow your favourite artists, bands and people you care about and star entire albums or make playlist from albums. To me it's that Spotify is focused around playlists and single tunes, not entire albums and it's been like that since the launch. Spotify are also working on something they call "Collections" and they plan to release it soon so hopefully this feature will bring some essential functionality.
