Feedback request: My Spotify isn't working on my phone

I have seemed to encounter a problem with my Spotify that is on my phone. Ever since updating to iOS 8 the Spotify has stopped working completely. I'd press on the icon and the spotify app begins to run but after a few seconds it stays frozen and then times out without me ever getting into the app. I have tried all the steps recommended and re-downloaded my apps numerous times. What do I do?

I have this problem as well!

This happens to me too, ever since update version 1.8.1 on October 20th.  Can't open Spotify.  One time it opened for a split second before crashing.  I'm on iOS7, iPhone 4.

Ok I looked through tons of other threads and this solution worked for me. Go to general>language & region and then switch your region to something other than yours and then switch it back to yours. For example I switched mine from US to Sweden and then back to US. Now mine is not crashing! No idea why that worked but I'll take it!
