Fiat 500 steering wheel control

Hi my girlfriends steering wheel controls won’t work when using Spotify. It connects and plays fine.

when I connect my phone it plays Spotify but will also show the song title on the dash and allow me to use the steering wheel controls to change song.

both versions of Spotify are the same the only difference is I have iOS 11.2 and she has iOS 11.2.2 ? I can’t think of any other reason.

I had the same problem.

Does she have any songs on the phone itself (not Spotify)? If you don't for some reason it won't let you have steering control or show song playing with Spotify. I downloaded one song via iTunes and now it works like it should do.

**bleep**, you don’t realise how happy this has made me. I posted in a thread about a year ago as I was having this exact same issue. 

I have just Downloaded a song from iTunes and it’s worked!!!
