Filtered songs play but then playback stops

I used to be able to filter my songs to find a particular track, start that track, clear the filter, then either play my songs list from that track either in order or shuffled. Now when I try, the filtered track will play and stop or, if there were other tracks that came up under the filter, those tracks will play and then playback stops. It's very annoying
