Fit the mood - Missing

Fit the mood - Missing

Why were the party lists removed and why were the fit the moods slide bar removed.

Is is a documented feature and had a good selection of moods.

Better question, why remove a working feature of music that was mixed?  Wasnt perfect but had far better selections than whats listed now.

Hey @Dennis27, welcome to the Spotify Community!

We're simplifying the way you interact with Party, but the range of content and mixing feature will remain the same 🙂

We appreciate your feedback, and we'll pass it along to the team behind the Party feature.

Any other questions, just give us a shout.

Hi, thanks for the reply.

I was thinking, since the team behind party mode feels the general population is simple minded....   Sorry the sarcasm sneaks out.. The problem with being simple is the limited options.  It's like you have teenagers creating the lists for party mode.  Except the David Guetta list, that works.

How about this:  In settings under playback just enhance the cross fade a bit.  Beat match or adjust the base on the incoming song to allow for better fade.

THEN, in any list allow us to cross fade any song at any point in the song.  In the event the songs are lame, like in the current party mode lists.   sorry, couldn't resist.

In edition, why not allow us to save any play-list in the order we prefer? or remove an up coming song we don't like. Note: we remove an up coming song using the iphone app to control the ipad but it would be nice if the apps were the same across devices.

These several changes and you could lose the party mode all together allowing the users more creative options.  Then the party mode team will be cool again.
