Green arrow shows 4 downloaded songs but playlist only has 1.

Syncing nightmare. Sometimes it works after trying a bunch of times. Most of the time it doesn't work. Super fast wifi ( both mac and iphone on same network ). A ton of space available. Why is it so hard to get songs play on all devices? You'd think once you upload it to Spotify it's in the cloud and should just work. Thinking of switching to apple music : /

My Question or Issue

My last few successful attempts: switched from "dowloaded" green button on the phone back and forth a milllion times and after half an hour of this the song appeared. This time after an hour of trying still doesn't work. Clicking "refresh" does nothing. Restarting the app does nothing. Changing Macs does nothing. I feel like I've tried everything.
