[HELP] My Spotify Family Account has no lyrics

My Question or Issue
Since I made an account for Spotify Family, I realized that I didn’t have the lyrics feature. I tried all possible solutions like logging out and reinstalling the app, but it didn’t work. What else could I possibly do to have the lyrics feature?

Did you create an account for yourself and then you got added to a family subscription? cause I don't understand what you're referring to when talking about a "family account". 

Regarding the live lyrics feature, did u have the feature before and it suddenly disappeared? or you've never had it on that account?

Live lyrics is still a feature that is being tested so in that regard not everyone has it yet. It could also be that the feature is limited to certain countries due to restrictions by labels and the country you're located in.

Hi sorry for the confusion! I made an account which was added to the family subscription and it never had the lyrics feature. But for the live lyrics feature almost everyone I know has the feature from the same country as well.

Oh okay. To be honest, Spotify is constantly testing that feature and other features no matter the country (to certain groups of people). Another possibility is that if the account was created that recently maybe just wait and the feature will appear eventually, but i honestly don’t know of a way to force the feature to appear.

Last year something similar happened to me but with the Canvas feature (which is still being tested), and i never got it back on my account. 

Sadly, you’ll just have to wait till it appears, cause if you’ve tried everything like logging out, deleting and updating the app, etc. then there’s nothing else u could do. Maybe try contacting spotify support chat, they’ll know better than me since i don’t work for them.

Spotify is often doing A/B tests of different features which a group users might get and another won‘t. Some make it to an official launch and some don't.

Currently the live lyrics feature is being tested in several regions and there's no way to opt in or out.

We tried opening the link @Loxer sent and it worked fine. We suggest that you try opening it in an incognito window or using a different internet connection. 

On another note, we can confirm that the lyrics feature is still being tested, that's why some users might have it and others don't. 

We're trying to improve the user experience constantly and the best way to go is by regular updates and feature improvements. We recommend keeping the app updated to the latest version to avoid missing a thing.
