How do I turn on shuffle in daily mix on iPad??

My Question or Issue

I have no option to use shuffle

on Daily Mix lists when playing on my iPad,

I do have that option on daily mix lists on my iphone though.

how do I shuffle daily mix on iPad as well?

I’ve added the + to that thread

even though it mentions this issue in all types od playlists

while my issue of missing shuffle/repeat buttons is specific to daily mix playlists.

the other solution that was mentioned didn’t work for me,

I selected shuffle on another playlist but that setting

didn’t roll over to the daily mix list I selected afterwards.

can going back to a free plan fix this?

Thanks for the reply!

Shuffle play for daily mixes is currently not available on free accounts.

You can try the following: Open your Daily Mix > press Play, then open the Now playing view by tapping the album artwork in the side menu > check if you can see the  button anywhere.

As a workaround we can suggest you try adding the songs from the Daily Mix in a new playlist and shuffle that. The easiest way to do this would be using the Ctrl+A / Command+A command on the desktop app to select all the songs in the mix.
