I can no longer edit my playlists

So a while ago my premium ended and I wanted to go organise my playlist but I couldn’t, the edit button wasn’t there. So I double checked, updated it and it still wasn’t there. I even deleted it and redownloaded it and it still wasn’t fixed. I’m on iPad just clarifying. Any ideas how to fix it?

On Spotify free for mobile you can only rename your playlists as you are tied to a shuffle mode so you can't play your songs in the order you want.
