My Question or Issue

The following leads to a bug:

Open the app, play music

Lock the phone

 Wake it up without unlocking it

Resume play with the lock screen widget “now playing”

Pause the song

lock with button

the song will resume playing

Same issue here except mine is persistent any time I play music, the lock screen control center controls don’t work. It will show the play button while music is playing, and if I try to skip track or pause the song the controls don’t respond at all. This specifically started when I upgraded to iOS 12.2. I’ve deleted and reinstalled Spotify and issue persists. This is definitely an issue with how Spotify is coded vs. the new features and functions in Control Centre in iOS 12.2. It seems Spotify needs to update their app.
