IPad and external music

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what my options were in getting external music played on Spotify and added to my playlists on my iPad? Can this be done for external music that isn't on my iPad? I'm guessing my options are external hard drives, cloud storage etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

If you have local files stored on your computer, which you would like to sync to your iPad, Spotify can do that for you if you follow the instructions to sync your devices outlined on this help page.
