I agree. Classical tracks often have the name of the symphony/opera/whatever at the beginning of every track which means that every track looks exactly the same - see pic. This is completely useless. Either stop naming tracks in this way, or let users add their own nicknames to tracks, or display long titles properly.IMG_7829.PNG

I don't listen to classical music (but I respect it) and even for me it's unbelievable that orignal post was created 5 years ago and still, something so simple it's not included. Even in desktop version - you have those bars with an artis, song title, etc. - why they aren'e resizable? Is this that much problem? Another thing is that - spotify doesn't have any equalizer, but it's for another story. I really, really miss Winamp... Legal streaming with spotify database through this app would be so fantastic... Dream on...

I was dealing with the same thing, very frustrating indeed.

If you use your computer though, you can right click on the song and select "credits" and that will show the entire name of the track.

Thanks for this observation.  This definitely helps, though we would like on easier way to do this.

Hey there folks,

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

What @user-removed is a valid workaround when using the Desktop app.

You have a go at reducing the Text Size form the Display settings on your phone, this should make all the menus and text in the app smaller as well. Keep in mind that tracks with very long names will probably still not be displayed fully if you're browsing in a playlist view.

If you think other users might also like the idea for an option which allows you to see the names of songs in their entirety on Mobile, go ahead and create an idea on the relevant idea board. We always take new ideas and feedback into consideration to improve the app. Here you can read more on how ideas work.

We also suggest checking this help article for useful tips on how to submit an idea. As a heads-up, it's good to know that the higher the number of votes an idea gets, the more likely it is for the idea to be implemented :slightly_smiling_face:

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any more questions.

It is some workaround, yes. But I encourage Spotify to look how the others
service (Qobuz for instance) deal with this issue. Their answers are for a
long time way better than the "workaround" proposed here. Since I think I
posted this message 8 years ago or so, I do think that it is totally a
decision from Spotify not to deal with this. I won't bother to put this
anywhere else. You do not care about classical music. So be it.
