Ipad to Apple TV has no sound

Hello,

I can use my iPad for everything AirPlay and Apple TV related except for Spotify. Whenever I play songs with Spotify and I select Apple TV, the song shows up under now playing (on the TV) but there is no sound. I can't figure out how to get sound...

I have tried with multiple iOS devices and no luck. Am I missing something?

Hello there 

 to restart your Apple TV: hold down the Menu and Down buttons on your Apple Remote for 6 seconds, then release when the indicator light on your Apple TV starts blinking.

 And also make sure your TV volume is up I had that happen to me I thought to myself why is no sound on TV and stupid of my I forgot to turn up the TV volume
