Issues playing music when connected to car

I constantly have issues playing music from my app, when connected to my car. I can't change the song unless I grab my phone. The only way to solve it is to delete the app and reinstall it. I have to do this daily since the ios upgrade to 11, its getting really annoying any solution for this? From what I have read apple say the error resides with the spotify app.
