Listening History does NOT show individual tracks, how to fix?

Listening History does NOT show individual tracks, how to fix?

Premium account, USA. iPhone 11, latest iOS 15.

When I go to the Listening History, it shows links to random playlists and a few songs but this does not reflect all of the songs that I listened to yesterday. More than 95% is missing — it shows 7 songs from yesterday, while I listened to over 100 (which I CAN see in the Recently Played section of the “Add Songs” interface of the Create Playlist workflow).

it seems there’s supposed to be a way to Filter the listening history to show “all tracks”, either via a 3-dot menu or some filter buttons (similar to what’s shown in My Library), however the top of my Listening History page has NOTHING. It just says “Revently Played”, then “Today”, “Yesterday” , etc it doesn’t even show the songs that I played this morning (yes I played the songs all the way through, no I don’t have any “private” mode enabled).

How can I just view a chronological list of every song that I played? This shouldn’t be so difficult. Spotify claims that I should be able to see the entire past 3 months of listening history… well, where is it? Because it’s not under the Listening History page.

I am attaching screenshots showing the Listening History page which shows a few songs from today, versus the history shown in the Add Songs workflow which shows every song (I have listened to over 20 songs so far today). These were screenshot at the same time after restating the app…

Nobody knows? I listened to 20+ more songs today, yet the listening history page only shows 4.

Hi there @topsykretts,

Thank you for your post here in the Community.

Can you perform a clean reinstall of the app? This will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

On another note, does this occur on one specific device or multiple devices?

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Take care!
