Local files won't show up on iPhone

My Question or Issue

So I downloaded a song from my local files to my Macbook. I can play the song on my computer but when I put it in a playlist, it won't show up on my iPhone. I am on the same wifi as my computer. I tried on a different computer (also on the same wifi) but I can't get it to work. My English is not very good so I hope you can understand me.

Thanks for your question. No worries, your English is great!

We suggest that you do a quick reinstall for a fresh start and to ensure that you have the latest Spotify version. This means that you'll have to re-download any music you've saved for offline use. 

If you're still having trouble synchronizing the tracks between devices, try using mobile hotspot to connect the devices to the same network. If there's too many local files, try with just a few, create a test playlist 🙂

I posted a similar issue today and changing to a mobile wifi hotspot for the laptop and iPhone worked, although after downloading the local tracks, I had to quit and restart spotify on my iphone before I could see them in the play lists.
