Local files won't sync to iPhone

So I'm trying to sync some local songs i have from a CD onto my phone. I have them in my local files on the desktop app, and I've tried putting them in a new offline playlist on the device and also in the offline playlist I wanted them in. They justr stay grayed out. I'm on the same wifi network on both devices, I've even turned off the ethernet on my pc so it's just on wifi.

if you use an wi-fi repeater/extender, try just to use the connection to the main router. mine worked after this
