Locally saved mp3s suddenly greyed out

My Question or Issue:

Suddenly my locally stored songs (i.e. the .mp3 files are saved on my phone via itunes) are appearing as greyed out. I have not touched anything setting-wise, i dont use spotify on desktop & have not done anything to my phone/the app. 

What the **bleep**? Any help?

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

In this case, we'd suggest you log out and log in twice onto your Spotify account; this way the system will force a resync of your account.
 

If the above doesn't do the trick, we'd recommend reinstalling the app on your mobile phone to see if you notice any difference. You can follow the steps in this article to perform a clean reinstall. Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Lastly, would you mind sending us the exact Spotify version you have running on your device?
