Lost music from iPod

hi im shannon, im a spotify premium user and im trying to get music from spotify to load onto my ipod i already had it backed up and synced on spotify but it didnt put new music in that i had on my spotify play list all it did was whipe it clean of music. Can you please help me to get my music back on my ipod..the ones on my spotify

Hey Shannon, what type of iPod is it you have? Only iPod Touches will be able to sync tracks from the Spotify catalogue -- all catalogue tracks are stored online and it's only iPod Touches that have the ability to get online to access them. More details here.
