Music interrupted by charging sound but not podcasts

iPhone 8, iPhone 12. Premium plan. Latest iOS version. 

When put on or taken off a wireless charger, Spotify music is interrupted by charging sound. Podcasts plays seamlessly with no interruption. This did not use to happen until I enabled voice commands through Siri when prompted by Spotify. I’ve since turned this off, and even tried muting notification sounds through my phone to no avail. This issue does not occur with other music apps, so I believe it is something with Spotify.

I also have this problem. The issue happens to me when I’m listening to spotify in my car via bluetooth, and whenever I put my phone on it’s wireless charger or whenever I take it off. The issue doesn’t happen with Apple Music, Youtube, Apple Podcasts, or basically any other thing, just Spotify
