My Question or Issue

When I listen to music with my iPhone, sometimes the song will simply stop playing after 10 seconds. This is totally random and happens with different songs.

My player will still indicate that the music is playing and that I can pause it. The progress bar on its end is frozen on the 10 sec mark.

However, when trying to pause/play the music, nothing happens.

I have to completely restart the app so that my music can resume.

I have done all the steps and it still stops I have a iPhone 14 it plays one song the three ads and stops

I finally resolved for me permanently on laptop only, I checked the apps shown in Spotify that had access to Spotify. One of them I don’t recognize so I deleted and immediately solved the issue. Not sure how app shown was added and had access ()e.g., listening to Spotify viia Roku)).  Hope this helps someone.

I am having this same issues.  I cleared the cashe.  Did a uninstall, delete, turn phone off, and reinstall and the music still pauses.  I turned the WiFi off and on.  I updated my phone and yet the music keeps pausing.   I’m ready to go back to Apple Music at this point if this can’t get fixed.  Any suggestions.

Hey @Jtaggart97,

Sorry to see you've been experiencing this issue.
Have you tried removing your third party apps to see if they'd be responsible for the app behaviour? This is what @timfunn has done and it seems to have resolved the issue for them 🙂

Note: You can later re-add any apps you wish to keep!

Hope this helps 🙌🏼
