Music stops/starts when I turn my iPhone upside down or move it

My Question or Issue

Whenever I put my iphone in my pocket (turning it upside down so the headphone jack is facing the top), Spotify freaks out and starts/stops repeatedly. It will then ignore the headphone commands or have a super delayed response if I try to pause/unpause the music my pressing the headphone buttons.

Not sure what's going on, or if this is a common issue. All the typical things have been tested (ie phone is not set to be motion sensitive, not mistakenly touching the screen, etc.)

Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Spotify.

It seems like an issue with the headphone jack.

It has happened to me too and it was crazy 🙂

I woud recommend testing that with a new pair to see if that helps.
