My downloads aren’t working

I have Spotify premium, and I’ve had it for over a year now. I uninstalled and reinstalled Spotify a while ago, just to clear up my phone briefly. I tried to download songs from one of my playlists again, but nothing is downloading. It says it’s downloading, and it shows at the top of the screen that songs are being downloaded, but actually looking at the playlists it’s obvious nothing is actually downloaded. I’ve never had this issue before and I have a four hour long car drive soon, please help:(

Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps.

If you're still having trouble, let me know what device this happens on, as well as the current software version.
