My podcast keeps rewinding and skipping bits unintentionally

I listen to the two hot takes podcast regulary and i have a lot of issues that bits of audio gets skipped of rewinded without my doing. You just hear the normal audio, then a cut and then hear the previous audio again. Later it skips another piece of audio to make up for the time, the time on spotify is the same time as the youtube video. Ive contacted the maker and she said she would look into it with her spotify people, but i still experience it. It doesnt happen on other podcasts! It seems that not a lot of people have this issue

As a next step in narrowing down the possible cause of this issue, can you please check if the same thing happens with a different internet connection by a different provider? Also, are you connected to another device when this happens (through Bluetooth or Spotify Connect)?
