New Release Breaks Yamaha Amp Airplay

Seriously what on earth were you thinking with this latest iOS release? Everything was perfectly stable before now I can't use the most critical feature of all notably Spotify Connect to my Yamaha Rx475 amp via airplay.

Whoever was in charge of releasing software that breaks such a fundamental aspect of the service should be explaining themselves.

Time to cancel my subscription.

I haven't noticed anyone else saying that airplay or Connect doesn't work with the new release. What issues are you having exactly and is it both with airplay and connect?

All I know is the previous version worked flawlessly and this one just doesn't. When I start playing a track and click on the output icon, my Yamaha amp is listed, but when I select it, it doesn't stick and just defaults back to my iOS device.

Why oh why I updated without reading these forums I don't know. It is clear from all the issues people are having, that it is a fundamentally flawed piece of software.
