New app doesn't work on iPhone

New app doesn't work on iPhone

I upgraded to the new app for iPhone and am having the same problem that others have. When I open the app, it closes immediately. The only app that works is the really old version (iOS 4) and it doesn't have the radio feature. Someone please fix it!

Hi, and welcome to the community!

 

Have you tried:

 

1) Reinstalling the Spotify app

2) Forcibly restarting your phone, by holding down the home and power buttons for at least 10 seconds? This frees up some ram, and often apps crash like that because of a LowMemory error.

 

Could you check if there is an error logged as well? You can find these by going to Settings>General>About>Diagnostics and usage>Diagnostic and usage data. You should see one to do with Spotify, and feel free to let me know what the key errors are in it.

I have the same problem but with an iPad generation one.
