No audio over Bluetooth in car - song "plays" but no sound? using iphone 7

That's strange. Did you have this issue before? Also, can you let us know if it works with an AUX cable? 

In the meantime, can you try reinstalling the app and restarting the device? Also, it would be worth to restart your car's sound system.

 Thank you for your response .it works with the aux cable . i tried it in another car and it functions fine with the bluetooth . i havo not tried to restart the car system yet .

this just happened to my audi a3 2015 model, paired with Google Pixel phone, Running 7.9.0.746 version of spotify.

While connected, I can skip songs, change playlists, the song will play but there is no audio coming from car speakers via bluetooth.

However calling function works with the car just fine with audio coming through car speakers.

Hello ! The solution was quite simple indeed .

I just reset my Iphone 7, and voilà ! I can stream my music via blutooth again !
