No friends appearing in friends tab

None of my friends are appearing in the friends tab

Friends do appear on iPhone and desktop.

but in the iPad app the appear a few seconds on fresh startup and then they are gone.

Exactly the same problem. Friends show up for a few seconds and then disappear.

It works properly on the iPhone. The problem is only on the iPad.

Is your account connected to Facebook?

My account is independent of Facebook, but I am able to view and add friends via the desktop application with the non-Facebook account.

Unfortunately Spotify social on the mobile applications only currently works with Facebook connected accounts.
