No <Premium duo> for iphone ?

No <Premium duo> for iphone ?

Plan Premium Duo

Country Poland

Device Iphone X

Operating System iOS 13.3

My Question or Issue

No <Premium duo> for iphone ? Hi, yesterday I registered  my Premium Duo at MacBook  as qnc1qlsnocf8lj3090pito344 and I would like to install it at my iPhone and iPad. I removed the old <Spotify free> app, made a logout from my iphone, started the device once more and then opened e-mail with the confirmation of registration to Premium Duo. I logged in to my new account at spotify webpage wit h a new looong name  ( I check it was Premium duo) and downloaded Spotify App for iPhone (there was a link to Apple store) . Unfortunately after opening the app I am back at my old account with <Spotify free>. I repeated this procedure 5 times, once I even  removed the Facebook app, but Premium duo is still absent.

Hi there @Janusz314,

thanks for posting !

It's an often mistake among users to create more than one account when changing subscriptions.

It would be great if you could try the following :

- Visit your account overview at Spotify.com

- Check for your subscription status

- If it presents anything other than "Duo", please click "Sign Out Everywhere"

- Use this page to locate all account listed with your details

- Relog across devices making sure you're using the right credentials

Furthermore, you can click this page for further knowledge on how the Spotify Duo subscription works.

Hope this'll solve the issue.

Waiting to see how it goes 🙂

Hi ,

thx for your email. I did as you suggested. I logged into my account at Spotifyweb page  and I checked that I had only one profile  <Premium Duo>. I  checked also my Facebook and I found there was another Spotify account using another name (jholyst) and it was <spotify free>.  I removed this service  from the Facebook.

Then I removed Facebook and Messanger from my Iphone, swith off and swithed on my Iphone X. I logged into my  Spotify account , it was  <Premium Duo>. I downloaded Spotify mobile application for my Iphone and then I got ONLY  <Spotify free> with the user name jholyst . It seems that  information about my my old accout is kept by my phone and I can not remove it. Including you find pdf file with corresponding screen shots.

I am realy tired with this issue , I spent altogether ca 5 hours trying to get the correct Spotify app for my iphone.

Hi @Janusz314,

thanks for keeping me posted !

As a first and basic step, i would have to sugest you perform a clean reinstall of the Spotify app, making sure to clear all Spotify app data (step 4 in the support article).

Furthermore, i'd like to know if  you're usinthe same credentials upon logging in on your different devices?

Waiting on your update 🙂

Hi,

I performed <clean reinstall> at my MacBook and at my Iphone. At my MacBook I see <premium duo>. When I logged into my Spotify account at my Iphone I had the same status <premium duo> but when I downloaded Spotify app from applestore I had statue Spotify free. When I click the icon premium then I get information(a always) <One can not move to premium at applicaction. We know it is uncomfortable>. Does it mean I can us <premium duo> at iPhone only from the web browser ?

Hey @Janusz314,

Thanks for getting back to us with that info.

Hmm, it sounds like the iPhone app might have stored the login details for your free account (see this related thread).

Can you make sure that the login details for Spotify are not stored on the cloud? You could also try heading to your phone settings under "Accounts" and remove any saved/stored FB info, since you mentioned your free account was connected with Facebook.

After that, could you try these steps on your iOS device:

  1. Tap Home
  2. Tap Settings
  3. Scroll to the bottom
  4. Tap Log out?

Once you're logged out, you should get a login screen where you can enter your details - try entering the login credentials for your Premium account.

Just as an FYI, you should be seeing the Premium features on all your devices - as long as you're logged into the account that's on Premium.

Hope that helps! Keep us posted 🙂
