Offline Songs - Local Files from Mac vs Offline Songs from Spotify Library and the 3333 song Limit

I'm currently facing an issue syncing songs from my Mac to my iPhone 6. I'm running the latest updates for Spotify, and I put all of my local songs on my Mac that I wanted to sync to my iPhone's Spotify app in a playlist and then chose the option for offline access (the playlist is about 8000 songs that I have within my music folder on my Macbook Pro, files that I actually own and have imported or purchased).

I also have around 1200 songs that are saved to the Songs tab on My Music that come from Spotify's collection. My issue is that my playlist of local files and attempting to redownload my Songs from Spotify's library all seems to stop partially through.

Consequently, I'm wondering if songs that I'm syncing to Spotify from my owned files also count against the 3,333 offline song limit on the Spotify application on my iPhone. Consequently, this makes even syncing the 8000 or so that I own to my phone problematic, as I wouldn't think the app would prevent me from playing music files that I own myself, especially when that is the main motive for having a 128GB iPhone 6 Plus.
