Offline syncing

I've had premium for a little under a year and it was great for listening to playlists offline during my commute to school. About 2 months ago I deleted the app due to all the cookies and space it was taking up on my phone. Ever since then, my songs will not sync offline. It says they are synced, but if I slide the offline button to the left and back it shows that the majority of the songs aren't actually saved offline, and therefore using a great deal of data. I have plenty of space on my phone (iphone5), less than 1000 songs and have attempted to redownload the app multiple times. I'm not sure if there is a way to fix this or if I should delete my subscription at this point.
