Playing songs that aren’t in my playlist?

Playing songs that aren’t in my playlist?

My Question or Issue

Spotify keeps playing songs that I never added to my playlists despite my account having autoplay turned off and my playlists containing 15+ songs. I’ve experienced this a few times and have gone through the help forums to see if I could find a solution, but nothing has worked so far. For example, when I go to play the playlist in the screenshot I attached (on shuffle obviously, because I have a free account) it’ll start playing songs that I haven’t added despite there being 16 songs on that playlist and autoplay being off. Is there any way to fix this?

Hey there @Brianellabean!

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.

Spotify adds songs to playlists and albums on the free mobile version and the more you listen, the better suggestions you get. You can check here for more info.

The limit for 15 or more songs is for the Liked songs playlists. This is why the number of songs in other lists does not affect the suggestions.

You can leave a +Vote here if you'd like to see that feature changed.

Hope this info helps. Give us a shout if you have any further questions.

Cheers!
