I've just started using Spotify (about a week ago), signed up for all the whistles and bells. Bought a new iPod touch.
So I was playing a playlist whilst connected to wifi today and Spotify just started cracking it. Stop, start, stop, start, stop, start, stop, start, you get the picture... (about 5-10 seconds in between, very annoying).
Tried pressing some buttons (pause, play) and checked several times that it was on the docking station correctly. Yes, it was.
Ripped it off and put my old iPod with iTunes back on.
Spent the past hour trying work out how to get some help with this problem. Tried searching the help... no. Tried logging in to the community board... couldn't. Finally worked out that you need a random number that Spotify assigns you when you subscribe (really? not an email address, you want a random number that no-one knows you've assigned and no-one could ever possibly remember? and you call it a "username"? and you expect us to "just know" that this is what is required to log in to the community boards?).
Tried searching the boards and found a whole bunch of others having similar issues, kind of pleading for help or at least some input/comment from Spotify, to no obvious avail. Tried to 'reply' to one of the boards in order to join the discussion, thinking maybe another user might help.... no. Couldn't reply. Just an opaqued 'reply' button, no indication that there was any reason why it wasn't working. Tried searching "how do I comment on the community boards" because it seemed I must have done something wrong. No explanation, no help. Tried another community board (this one) and WOW here I am!
Appreciate it if anyone know if there is a problem and if/when it will be sorted out and if/when users will get a refund for the time we are unable to use our subscription.
Why am I paying for Spotify???
