Playlist on iPod classic won't synchronize

Hi 

I am new to Spotify. I have a premium account.

When I connect the iPod classic to Spotify the new playlist won't synchronize with the iPod. Before I turned the playlist to offline mode as told in the user manual. 

On the Spotify desktop I can choose which playlist I want to be synchronized but there are Songs which I can buy.

As far as I understood I don't have to buy them just to listen to them in my car iPod classic as I have the Premium account.

Did I missundertood something oder is there a problem with iPod classic? Is it only working with iPod touch or iPhone?

All I want to do is just to listen to the Spotify Playlist while driving. I think I am allowed to do so for 30 days, afterwards I have to resync a new Playlist?

Where do I get a Spotify manual?

There isn't a manual but the Help pages have a lot of useful information and you can always ask questions in the community. There are a couple of ebooks available through amazon too - a Dummies Guide and a guide written by Pansentient League.

Hey atleast you just purchased yours, i wiped my 5g of music off mine because i thought premium worked with classic..

i am beyond livid right now.

Their "now you can use your ipod" video shows an artwork drawing of a classic.. but doesnt use them. wtf

How disappointing. I distinctly remember this working a year or two ago. Canceling my Spotify Premium account immediately... What a waste of time... And to think that I reset my iPod just to sync it with Spotify! Very, very disappointing. I will not be recommending Spotify to ANYONE.

Spotify is great, it is not their fault that the iPod  Classic has no net and or Wlan. You can have Spotify on the iPod topmodel because this one have internet, but I want a strictly music player, all other things I can do with my phone,

Jajaja, so you should say something like this "Now you can use your Spotify Premium account with Ipod classic ! (to hear podcast and music downloaded in Itunes)"

I guess it is a better announcement and at least you are not lying, not as with the current one.

Nothing, Spotify will only work with internet and or Wlan. As far as mobile players go there is not much choice, either Apple Ipod touch and or the Sony NWZ-886. I hope there will come more players that are strictly music players, for all the rest I can use my smartphone, but it seems that Astel& Kern, FiiO, IBasso and the like did miss the streaming train, but I am sure more devices will come,after all Streaming is fairly new and the HiFi specialists did concentrate first on home audio.

It would have been nice if spotify had warned me I couldn't sync on my iPod classic before it erased the current content. FFS.
