Playlist shows up on mobile, but not the songs

Using my laptop, I downloaded some mp3s onto Spotify and made them into a playlist. When I tried to play them on my phone, The playlist showed up, but not the songs. HELP!!

Hope you're doing great!

To access local files in your mobile app just toggle the Download for that playlist.

Tap on the … top right corner, find Download and tap on it.

Then just wait for the songs to download on your phone as well.
